What you share, and why.
When you submit an inquiry, we receive your name, email address, message, and any priorities or scope you select. You may also provide your company, job title, phone number, industry, LinkedIn profile, consulting focus, project stage, city or region, and an exploration brief. Optional fields are not required to contact us.
These details help WSI respond, understand your request, and discuss relevant expertise or next steps. Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or create a service commitment.
Website delivery and security services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, request time, and requested pages. The inquiry endpoint uses temporary request identifiers and security records to limit abuse and duplicate submissions.
What stays, and for how long.
Planner selections and unfinished inquiry fields stay in this tab’s memory as you navigate the site. They are not saved to browser storage or sent through the inquiry form until you submit. Refreshing or closing the tab clears that draft. Copying or downloading a brief creates a copy you control.
Our policy is to shred or delete engagement data after each engagement unless the client requests otherwise. A submitted inquiry becomes a business email; clearing browser data does not delete that email or subsequent correspondence. For inquiries that do not become engagements, contact us to request deletion or ask about retention.
Temporary inquiry security records have a ten-minute rate-limit window and a duplicate-request window of up to 24 hours. These are held in server memory and may reset sooner. Hosting and email providers maintain their own operational records.
Start with context. Share sensitive detail deliberately.
The initial inquiry is a way to begin a business conversation. Please share only information you are authorized to provide, and leave out passwords, financial account details, sensitive personal data, confidential drawings, trade secrets, and other restricted material.
If your project requires an NDA, specific confidentiality terms, or a secure document exchange, tell us in your message so those arrangements can be discussed before you share the material. Sending an inquiry does not itself establish an NDA, legal privilege, or an agreement to perform services.
Transport protections and access controls help protect information, but no website or email channel can guarantee absolute security. Confidentiality obligations for an engagement are governed by the agreement established for that work.

Please describe the request without sending identity documents or sensitive records in the initial message.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and a right to complain to a relevant privacy authority. We may need enough information to verify and locate a request; some records may need to be retained where permitted or required.
